Time-series analysis in marine science and applications for industry

The purpose of this event was to bring together the scientific community and research activities across fields in marine science (physical oceanography, marine chemistry, marine biology, ecology, geology and ocean engineering) to foster interactions and collaborations focused on a common topic: time-series analysis methods.
The conference, started with 2-day training course followed by 3-day scientific conference. In addition to the courses and oral presentations, 36 posters were presented. Most of them are published in the psoters report. Slides presented during oral presentations are available on this web site.
Based on in-situ data analysis and modelling re-analysis, this conference gathered senior and young researchers (post-doctoral, PhD and master students) to share their experience in time-series interpretation across several marine scientific fields.
Starting by a 2-day training course and followed by several scientific sessions during the following 3-day conference, this event promoted the transfer of knowledge between researchers from several fields. Both training courses and conference presentations were mainly based on application examples and case studies from field experiments.
The 3-day conference was inspired by the "Gordon conference format", with all activities taking place on the conference site, including meals and accommodation, thus allowing ample time for informal discussions and brain-storming opportunities.
