Are you eligible?
The ClimECO2 Summer School is open ideally to PhD students, post-doc, engineers, lecturers and researchers working on topics related to “oceans and climate change” and who are interested in the challenge of crossing the barriers between disciplines.
We welcome applications from both natural and social scientists.
Review criteria
Your application will be examined by two or more reviewers. The following criteria will be considered:
- Level and suitabillity of qualifications
- Relevance of study and interests to ClimECO2 themes
- Motivations
- Abstract: you will be asked to present your work or a part of your work relevant to one of the themes of this school. An effort of communication will be needed as the public will come from a wide range of scientific domains. The format of your presentation (poster or 10’ talk) will be chosen by the selection committee.
You will be informed of the outcome of your application on or before 15 May 2010. Please do not pay the registration fee before this date.

Financial Support
There are limited funds to support attendance at the summer school. Fellowships will be offered to as many attendees as possible, selected according to the quality of the applications and to the restrictions imposed by the funding agencies (ex: country of institution, etc.).
To apply for financial support, please complete the appropriate section on the 'Application form'.
If you work in a developing country, you have strong chance to be, at least in part, financially supported to attend this school.
If you work within a French institution (CNRS, University, etc...), you will be supported by the CNRS. Please indicate this information clearly in the application form under the section 'financial support'.
